My reflection on the second week of the webskills course

Taking the webskills course has been giving me an opportunity to take a big step forward in the field of online education. It’s really fun to share new idea, information and their own experiences.  In terms of sharing search engines the class has been using, I was able to get to know brilliant educational websites including Merriam-webster dictionary for kids and Longman Dictionary. Plus, it was very interesting for me to find out the differences between YouTube for Schools and TeacherTube. I have always been curious about how teachers apply technologies to their classes. By looking at the posts by the classmates describing their classes, I was able to know how they manage and plan their class using technologies. These kinds of sharing and exchanging ideas will surely act as a stimulus to teaching and learning English online for our classroom. I am expecting to learn more about new things next week.

  1. Hi Hannah!
I agree with you that this week was really fruitful in rwading and sharing stuff. For me, it was great to see how many teachers use technology nowadays. But, no matter how hard I try I don't think i will ever be able to master the knowledge and use of so many search engines and links to teachers' websites! From a quick glance I had in week 3, I have realized that it will be very interesting but with a lot of work as well!! Let us see!
